02:14. Woken only for a real problem
A push alert when a deploy fails, an app turns unhealthy, a droplet goes off, a database fails over, an uptime check fails, spend passes your budget or DigitalOcean has an incident in your regions.
Duskwatch for DigitalOcean is an iPhone app for on-call: push alerts, then what broke and why in about 30 seconds.
Lock screen at 02:14.
01How it works
On-call in your pocket, not a control panel. Four steps, then back to sleep. Everything else can wait for the laptop.

A push alert when a deploy fails, an app turns unhealthy, a droplet goes off, a database fails over, an uptime check fails, spend passes your budget or DigitalOcean has an incident in your regions.
What failed, since when, the likely cause, and whether your last good version is still serving traffic.
Roll back or restart an app, reboot a droplet, or add your IP to the database. Face ID confirms every action, a swipe arms anything disruptive, and there are no delete actions.
Share a log excerpt with your team, open the droplet in your SSH app, or pick it up in the control panel.
02What's in it
Everything a night on call needs, from the alert to what broke and why, and what the month will cost.
Status on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, a Control Center button, and your resources in Spotlight.
Kubernetes clusters, load balancers, volumes, Spaces and certificates, each with its own findings.
Every client team in one app, with problem counts per team.
03Sign-in and privacy
The permission that can change things stays on your iPhone. Our server can look, never touch.
On this iPhone
The iPhone's secure sign-in sheet opens DigitalOcean's page. Sign-in asks only to view, and Duskwatch never sees your password.
You turn on "Enable actions" and approve it on DigitalOcean's page. That permission replaces the view-only one and stays in this iPhone's Keychain, this device only. It is never sent to our server, and widgets never read it. An optional Face ID app lock guards the app itself.
Without alerts, the app talks only to DigitalOcean, apart from looking up your IP when you add it to a database. No analytics or tracking SDKs.
Alert server, when you turn on alerts
You approve it on DigitalOcean's page and can revoke it there. The alert server checks the granted scopes on every exchange and refresh, and rejects and revokes anything that can write.
Without alerts: nothing.
With alerts on:
Kept in the EU. Turning alerts off deletes it within 24 hours, and "Delete my alert data" in Settings removes the rest.
Notifications carry only IDs. Your iPhone adds the team and resource names.

05Questions
Duskwatch is an iOS app, in development for iPhone. A TestFlight beta comes before the App Store: after you sign up, you can ask for an invite.
iPhone first. If you want Android or iPad, say so in the short survey after you join.
Droplets, App Platform apps, managed databases, Kubernetes clusters, load balancers, volumes, Spaces buckets, certificates, uptime checks, billing and DigitalOcean status.
From your iPhone you can power on, shut down, reboot, power cycle or snapshot a droplet, redeploy, roll back or restart an app, and add your IP to a database's trusted sources. There are no delete actions.
DNS, Functions and the container registry are not covered. Tell us in the survey if you need them.
No. Sign-in asks only to view, and actions are a separate permission you approve. Either one stays in this iPhone's Keychain and is never sent to us. Alerts use their own read-only permission, and only if you turn them on.
Basic monitoring is free and read-only. Duskwatch Pro adds alerts, most actions and advanced features.
